About Us

The Society of the Western Mysteries is a 21st Century working occult fraternity. Nestled in the Precambrian Malvern Hills, England, the Society explores and celebrates the Western Mystery Tradition.  Committed to the ideals of Spiritual Regeneration and Service to Humanity, we offer Outer Court training, the successful completion of which may lead to an invitation to join an Inner Working Group.

Established in 2015 by the previous Vice-Warden of Charles Fielding's London Group and other initiates, the Society traces its founding members' magical lineages back through the London Group, the Society of the Inner Light, the Aurum Solis, and, Ordo Astrum Sophiae.
